1. Parties

The seller is Haugastøl Turistsenter AS, organisation no. 931 039 849, Haugastølvegen 200, 3595 Haugastøl. Phone +47 32 08 75 64, email mail@haugastol.no. Website: www.haugastol.no.

The buyer is the person who starts and pays for the charging session.

2. Service and prices

The service consists of access to charge an electric vehicle at the charger and location shown in the payment flow. The applicable price is shown in NOK per kWh before charging starts.

If an idle fee applies for the relevant charger or time period, this must be shown in the payment flow before you confirm payment. Any fees and charges that apply to the charging session must be shown before the purchase is completed.

3. Payment

Payment is made using the payment methods offered in the payment flow at the time of purchase. The payment is handled by our payment provider in accordance with its security and identification requirements.

When you start a charging session, NOK 500 is placed as a temporary hold on the card. The final amount is charged when the charging session ends and is calculated based on actual delivered energy, any idle fee and any other disclosed charges.

Each completed charging session is settled with a minimum charge of NOK 10.00 incl. VAT, including where the meter shows 0 kWh. A receipt is sent or made available through the payment solution and may be sent by email if we have or receive a valid address.

4. Charging session performance

To start charging, the vehicle must be connected to the charger and payment must be approved. You are responsible for ensuring that the vehicle and cable are compatible and correctly connected.

The service is considered delivered when the charger is made available for the charging session and energy can be delivered to the vehicle. Charging may be affected by circumstances outside our control, such as the vehicle, cable, battery condition, power limits, the electricity grid or temporary technical issues.

When you are done, the vehicle must be unplugged and moved so the charging bay is available for other users.

5. Idle fee

Between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. local time, an idle fee may apply if the car has finished charging but the cable remains plugged in and occupies the charging bay. This is shown in the payment flow when relevant.

Any idle fee is added to the charging session and included in the final settlement.

6. Right of withdrawal

EV charging is a service delivered immediately after you request start and the payment is approved. Once delivery has started, the right of withdrawal will normally not apply to the part of the service already delivered.

If you have questions about the right of withdrawal in a specific case, please contact us by email or phone before or after the purchase.

7. Returns

There is no physical return for purchases of EV charging. Any objection to the charge or service delivery is handled as a complaint or refund request.

8. Complaints and refunds

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, that charging was not delivered as expected, or that there was another defect in the service, please contact us within a reasonable time. Please include the date, time, charger / Charge ID, charging location, vehicle registration number if relevant, and attach the receipt or other documentation if available.

We process complaints and any refunds in accordance with applicable law and the documentation available for the charging session.

9. Dispute resolution

We aim to resolve disputes amicably. Please contact us first by email or phone.

If the matter is not resolved directly, consumers may bring the matter before the relevant dispute resolution bodies in Norway. Disputes are governed by Norwegian law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is published on the website with the date of last update. For a charging session already completed, the terms published when the session was started will generally apply unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
